Steve Carll
cloudcradled
the pine-draping drops
downrain
in rhythmic precision
are star-flung:
starscatter
tumbled when turning,
the urban emerges
outwailing
its mechanized siren
comes cleaving
then tidily
tidally
recedes
and returns,
cloudshrouded,
cloudcradled
